WMI’s team of professional and highly qualified training consultants comprises of Master Mariners with a wide variety of experiences in various maritime fields such as:
- Masters onboard Liquid Natural Gas (LNG), Oil Tankers and Container Ships;
- Experienced lecturers in reputed training institutions in Singapore ;
- Officials of various appointments in Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) including involvement in conducting examinations and investigations in maritime incidents and maritime policy development;
- Participation in various IMO Assemblies and ILO Maritime Conventions; and
- Class 1A Pilot with Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) and MPA.
With its wide base of training consultants, the students will be exposed to various updated, relevant and current knowledges, and experiences from the many exposures and contact time with them.
In order to provide a good training and education environment, WMI training facilities are located at Wavelink Building, Integrated Simulation Centre at MPA situated at the Singapore Polytechnic as well as 10 Winstedt Road.
WMI is situated at 75, Jellicoe Road , Wavelink Building , which is located within walking distance of Lavendar Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station as well as opposite the Immigration and Customs Authority (ICA) building for the processing of the students passes and visas.
WMI has also situated 2 classroom at 10 Winstedt Road for the purpose of providing a better environment for students.

This location is conveniently located within walking distance of Newton Mass Rapid (MRT) Station as well as beside ACS (Junior), nearby amenities includes major food centre Newton Food Centre.

Students' particulars may be held in paper files by Administrative Staff and/ or on computer records. Only Wavelink Maritime Institute (WMI) staff/s who maintain the data shall have access to them. Paper Files shall be kept under Lock and Key. As for computer records, they shall be password protected.
